RCDA works in partnership with law enforcement and the people of Staten Island to pursue justice for victims of crime, to prevent crime in all its forms, and to promote the safety and well-being of all citizens of our borough. RCDA engages with young people on Staten Island as part of its crime prevention efforts.

RCDA Participation in safe and constructive programs where youth can learn and play enhances protective factors for youth and lessens the likelihood that young people will become involved in illegal activities, including drugs and gang violence. Staten Island boasts a number of programs and services for youth, but lacks a clearinghouse where parents and caregivers can find information on these programs and services.
